Mother’s Day and Scrapbooking
Mother’s Day rolls around once a year and with a little forethought it’s the perfect time to get your thinking cap on and do a little scrapbooking. What mother doesn’t love to reminisce about their children and families? Scrapbooking is a great way to connect with her on her special day.
When constructing a Mother’s Day album, gather all those things that are important to your mother. You could start with some photos of her childhood and work your way through to your birth. This gives a nice chronology to the book. Include postcards or pictures of her hometown along with snippets from old friends or neighbors. How about putting in a school report or award certificate? Did she collect autographs of her friends? They can be included too. Pictures of the grandchildren are an obvious choice too! Scrapbooking ideas are endless for this theme.
One thing is for sure, Mother’s Day is the perfect time to put your scrapbooking skills to work. This will be a memory book that will be treasured for a lifetime.
