Scrapbooking Tassels and Charms

We all want our scrapbooking albums to be unique.  There are a couple of products that we love to use to do just that. Charms and tassels are among the hot new trends for scrapbooking.   The tassels you used to have hanging on the ends of your drapes are not the tassels of today.  These are HOT!! And add the finishing touch to a scrapbooking page.  They are fun and fuzzy while also adding a touch of luxury to your project.  Charms add just what there name says - charm and character to your pages.

Scrapbooking tassels are available in many colors, sizes and materials.  The metallic look is really in right now, check out the different types of thread that are available.  With color mixes that fit right in with your themes you can't go wrong.   Beads and other embellishments can also be added to customize it to your theme. We like to add a tassel to the inside cover of the scrapbook so that it hangs lower than the page, it adds a special touch and invites you to see what&rsqou; inside.  If you would like to make your own, check out our how to article elsewhere on this website.  Charms add a nice finishing touch to your pages.  We like the ones with the letter of the alphabet on both sides.  Another favorite of ours is the ribbon charm which you thread ribbon or cord through.  One word of caution:  make sure that the charms are archival safe as you don't want to ruin the rest of your work.
